Slow Radio is Pete Ingo’s field-recording project. Since 2010, he has recorded weather, oceans, transport, radio, machinery and human environments on location. These recordings become releases, podcasts and broadcasts—made to accompany sleep, focus, calm and everyday life.

Slow Radio is the field-recording project of Pete Ingo.
Pete Ingo is a field recordist and composer based in Margate, on the Kent coast. He has been recording real environments since 2010, bringing the work together through Slow Radio as releases, podcasts and broadcasts.
His own use of sound for sleep, focus and calm has shaped the project from the beginning.
